Earlier this year Tiny Toez @ Treehouse registered with Durham University to participate in a Maths Champion Research Project. The Maths Project required data to be provided to Durham University throughout the year. With the help of the staff and children our Childcare Manager followed the research project through to the end of the trial and successfully submitted the required components of the data. As a result of this successful partnership Tiny Toez @ Treehouse will now be one of the sample settings used for the maths champion observations!
Tiny Toez @ Biddulph have taken part in the Biddulph Scarecrow competition and the children have all helped to make some Frozen themed scarecrows. The children have done a fantastic job. Can you tell who each scarecrow is?
We have had a very exciting time at nursery this autumn with a harvest collection. We are donating it all to the local church in Bridgtown Cannock, to give it out to those in need in the local community. The children have also been for a little walk around the community to see all the scarecrows that different businesses have created and put on display. The local school have also created some bright and colourful knitted bunting that is displayed all around town. A fun and rewarding community event. Well done everyone our children have really enjoyed the scarecrows.
